Do you have gym in the middle of the school day? Feel like you smell a little after? Only have 10 minutes to get ready for class? Been there. Smelled like that…LOL I’m here to help! Here are 6 tips on how to survive that after gym funk!!!!
1) Always pack an extra clean shirt. Tbh I used to sweat a lot during gym/P.E. I hated it. I felt like my clothes would just smell like dirty socks or a boys locker room…maybe not that extreme… but you know what I’m talking about. You can’t help but sweat when you’re running around outside doing different activities. Bringing an extra clean shirt in your gym bag and getting to change into after gym will help you feel and smell better about the rest of your day. You won’t have to worry about thinking you smell.
2)Bring a washcloth with travel soap or some wipes. Sometimes you aren’t allowed to take showers or don’t even have time to take a shower. I’ve been there! When you only have 5 minutes to get dressed and make it to your next class. It sucks. I know the feeling where you don’t really wanna lift up your arms cause you feel like they smell. DON’T WORRY I GOT YOU! You can totally put some soap on a washcloth run it under the facet and give yourself a quick but refreshing wipe down. You could also use some wipes! I know its not as good as a shower…but hey its close enough.
3)Bring extra deodorant! Usually after I give myself a little sink shower..lol I would put on a new layer of deodorant. It really helped me feel refreshed almost as if I just walked into school at 8AM.
4)Body Spray or Perfume. I think its a really good idea but totally not necessary to bring a body spray or perfume in your gym bag. Just to make sure you smell extra fresh when you walk out into the hallways!
5)Gum or Travel-size Mouthwash. A couple times after gym, I had this weird feeling that my breath smelled a little . So I would bring mints, mint gum, or mouthwash just to make sure I didn’t.
6) Blotting Pads or Makeup Wipes. If you wear makeup to school, there’s a possibility that when you go to gym you might sweat it off. 1 of 2 things could happen. The first is your makeup might be ruined. I hate when this happens! I feel your pain of waking up early to put makeup on and it gets ruined..it sucks. I would suggest to use a makeup wipe on the most needed places and then you can fix them! The second is if your face gets kinda oily. I would suggest getting some blotting pads and blot your face. That way you don’t have to totally redo your makeup. Put on a little powder and mascara and you’re ready to go!
